Responsible for overseeing, planning, scheduling and execution of regular events such as monthly meetings, special, social and cultural events, networking events, social events and the annual banquet. Also responsible for communicating with local media, media coverage for special events, media coverage for the organization, and developing material for distribution, such as brochures, etc...
Membership: Committee Co-Chairs - Carol Hallowell & Naomi Walker
Responsible for recruiting new members, developing and instituting ideas for retaining members, contacting prospective members regarding membership requirements, and ongoing improvement of membership benefits. Also responsible for maintaining the website and calendar and developing member materials, such as newsletters.
Scholarship & Mentorship: Committee Co-Chairs - Carol Eckelkamp & Lisa Gutierrez
Responsible for developing and recruiting mentors and mentees, developing programs and trainings suitable for both mentors and mentees, insuring that mentees receive an appropriate mentor and insuring that the mentoring relationship is beneficial and rewarding for both parties. Also responsible for developing criteria for the scholarship program, coordinating scholarship donations, and selecting the scholarship winner(s).
Speakers & Sponsorship: Committee Chair - AJ Wagner
Responsible for recruiting meeting sponsors, ensuring sponsorship fees and door prizes are collected, recruiting and coordinating with speakers, and ongoing improvement of sponsorship benefits.
