Habitat for Humanity of Williamson County provides affordable home ownership opportunities for families in Williamson County. Habitat Williamson County partners with families who help build their own home and purchase that home for the cost of the materials. Since 1999 the local organization has built 42 houses in Round Rock, Georgetown and Taylor.
Community Involvement
Want to get more invloved but you just don't know where to go? Nancy will be sharing ways to get involved through charily work, fundraising and different types of giving. She will be focusing on the many of the giving opportunities that will work for women who work and live in the Georgetown/Williamson County area.
Nancy Crouse
Nancy Crouse is a 22-year veteran of the United States Army and a retired Army Officer. Her military background is military law enforcement and logistics. Her education consists of an AA degree from the University of Maryland, BS degree in Business from Southwest Missouri State and an MBA from Florida Institute of Technology.
Nancy has served on numerous boards and committees around the world. These include: the American Cancer Society of Killeen; the YMCA of Killeen; the Officer’s Spouse and Civilian Board; the American Women’s Club in Korea; the Breast Cancer Resource Center of Austin; charter member of the Breast Cancer of Resource Center Advisory Board of Williamson County; Chairman of the Berry Creek Cancer Fund Committee; charter member of The Seeds of Strength Guiding Circle; Seton Williamson Hospital Trustee; charter member of Seton Williamson Development Board, founding member of the Horseshoe Club at Ride On Center for Kids (ROCK); Berry Creek Country Club Board; and fundraiser for the Humane Society of Williamson County and board member of WC4C. Nancy also supports the Chisholm Trail Communities Foundation and other local charities.
Nancy is married to Craig McCurdy, also a retired Army Officer and has lived in Berry Creek since 2003. Both are extremely active in Williamson County and proud to be Texans.
