Join PWOW at our October Empowerment Luncheon as we hear from Sherrie English, Certified Professional Coach, CIMA, CExP, ELI-MP, and EQi Certified Coach! Sherrie will lead a workshop on:
"The Power of Emotional Intelligence: How to Unlock Your Full Potential as a Leader."
Why emotional intelligence? Your emotional quotient (EQi) can be significantly more important in predicting occupational performance than IQ (intelligence quotient) as it reflects on your ability to deal with real-world situations. Sherrie will provide actionable items you can use to improve your own emotional intelligence and ability to lead.
Sherrie started in the investment industry in 1986, working at such firms as EF Hutton, Nuveen, AIM, and Merrill Lynch Private Banking and Investment Group. One of the first women in the industry to reach $4 Billion in sales, she has been recognized for outstanding sales and leadership and has served on the Advisory Committee at several investment companies and was named a Director and Global Partner for her efforts.
Her expansion into coaching and consulting grew out of her natural ability to help others reach their goals. A lifetime of experience and participation with thousands of professionals and teams has informed her approach and allowed her to recognize and help implement the pathways that lead to success for her clients. She gives real world strategies to deal with real world issues by helping them clarify their goals, and untying the knots that keep them from getting what they want.
Sherrie lives in Austin with her 2 beautiful children who are rapidly making their own way in the world. She was the founding executive director of CC4C, a charity that helps children with rare diseases, where she currently serves on the board. She has been in training to hike Mt. Kilimanjaro, but the global pandemic has slowed her plans. She enjoys traveling, cooking, yoga, and friends who are family, and family who are friends.
