Join PWOW at our June Encouragement Luncheon featuring local Round Rock business owner, Kathy Boles! Kathy was recently featured on the Today Show with Hoda and Jenna while participating in the Rut Buster's segment with life coach, Valorie Burton. Come and hear Kathy speak about how she was prepared to reach higher and enjoy life to the fullest by combining the "Five Things I've Learned" into her daily personal and professional life.
Kathy attended the Round Rock school district from first grade, through her junior year of high school then moved out of state by her father’s career to graduate from high school in Cleveland, Ohio. She continued her out-of-state tour, from the University of Arkansas then returned home to Round Rock. She spent twenty years as a technical writer in hazardous waste recycling, oil and gas then engineering industries including writing a manual for an antenna that remains on the International Space Station and chambers used to certify cellular phone technology leading to the development of the first iPhone. After meeting her husband Russ on a blind date arranged by former mayor Alan McGraw and his wife Kathy, they married a year later then welcomed daughters Margaret and Reese.
In 2015 Kathy joined her husband full time as they began purchasing and developing properties for commercial and residential use. Currently Kathy manages a three-million-dollar inventory of commercial and residential properties, is the founder and General Manager of an award-winning wedding venue, The Grove, in downtown Round Rock and is the manager of all things related to Russ’ commercial real estate business.
In their down time Russ and Kathy, along with their daughter’s Margaret and Reese, enjoy evening tradition of “catch the pup” with Rex their Golden Doodle and trips to Port Aransas whenever possible.
